Description
The Bartender provides customer service focused on the bar, rings in food and drink orders, makes drinks, handles cash, and completes opening and closing procedures. The role also includes sanitation, beverage and salsa station maintenance, table and bathroom cleaning, food portioning, and preparation of nonalcoholic drinks, garnishes, and syrups. Candidates must speak English, work well with a team, have basic math and communication skills, be comfortable with POS and other restaurant technology, and be able to multitask and prioritize. Prior restaurant or barback experience, liquor-law knowledge, alcohol-pairing knowledge, and bilingual English-Spanish ability are preferred; the role requires lifting 25+ pounds, standing for eight hours, and working in hot or cold kitchen environments.
