Description
The Bartender provides customer service focused on the bar, rings in food and drink orders, makes drinks, handles cash, and completes opening and closing procedures. The role also includes sanitation, beverage and salsa station maintenance, table and bathroom cleaning, food portioning, and preparation of nonalcoholic drinks, garnishes, and syrups. Candidates must speak English, work with a team, perform basic math, follow instructions, communicate verbally, and use POS and other restaurant technology; prior restaurant or bar experience, liquor-law knowledge, alcohol-handling certification, and bilingual English-Spanish ability are preferred. The position requires lifting 25+ pounds, standing for eight hours, navigating the restaurant, and working in hot or cold kitchen environments.
