Description
The Controls Technician installs, programs, commissions, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains building automation and HVAC control systems. The role interprets controls drawings, designs and programs direct-digital-control and automation systems, creates installation and as-built documentation, supports testing and startup, and serves as a customer contact. It is full-time with possible overtime, requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of control or mechanical systems experience, and involves travel, occasional overnight stays, and work outside normal hours at construction sites and mechanical rooms.
