Description
Xcel Energy is hiring an Energy Supply Base Capital Engineering Intern to support capital projects at combined-cycle generating plants in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. The intern will assist project engineers with project management and execution, learn power-plant systems and major equipment, read piping and instrumentation diagrams, electrical schematics, and plant drawings, and use project planning and budgeting systems. The role is intended for a May 24, 2027 start date, with a possible extension based on performance and business needs, and requires full-time summer availability and part-time availability during the school year. The anticipated starting base pay is $23.10 to $24.60 per hour, with pension, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and holidays.
