Description
O-I is hiring a Glass Manufacturing Batch & Furnace Manager for its Toano, Virginia plant. The role oversees furnace and batch-house operations, environmental controls, maintenance, labor, equipment, maintenance, and expense budgets, while supervising hourly personnel and managing raw materials and glass formulas. The position requires glass furnace and large-scale glass melting experience, employee supervision and scheduling experience, preventive maintenance planning, and lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience; a HS Diploma or GED is required, while a related engineering degree is preferred. The expected salary is $95,000 to $120,000 plus a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus, with health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage among the benefits.
