Description
Apple’s Battery Cell Engineering Team is seeking a Battery Cell Engineer to develop and qualify advanced lithium-ion rechargeable cell designs for new products. The role covers performance and test specifications, new chemistry and packaging qualification, NPI testing, vendor and regional lab testing, failure analysis, root-cause investigations, process design of experiments, and collaboration with engineering, operations, universities, and research labs. The position requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of hands-on lithium-ion battery experience, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin.
