Blue Origin is hiring a Battery Cell Engineer in its Lunar Permanence business unit to define lithium-ion cell requirements, evaluate and select cells with suppliers, perform cell development and production testing, analyze degradation and failure mechanisms, support battery-management-system algorithms, improve cell and pack performance, and advance battery technology for spaceflight applications. The role covers battery design, qualification, production, and flight-hardware delivery, with collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and testing teams.
