Description
The Battery Wrecker and Yard Supervisor supervises hourly employees and operates Battery Wrecker and Yard activities while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, EPA, and OSHA requirements. The role includes spotting trucks and railroad cars, conducting safety inspections and meetings, maintaining secondary containment and hazardous-waste controls, cleaning spills and equipment, and reporting operational issues. Pre-hire requirements include mobile equipment operation, communication skills, and Excel and Word skills; post-hire training covers environmental, safety, job instructional, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 topics.
