BatterieIngenieure by UL Solutions is hiring a Battery Diagnostic Engineer in the Bilbao area, Spain, to develop and validate advanced diagnostic algorithms and models for batteries. The role leads international industrial or research projects, supports customer technical discussions, designs battery state-detection control algorithms and BMS architectures, develops battery models, supervises test procedures and data analysis, and mentors junior engineers and interns. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, 3–4 years of experience in battery modeling, state detection, BMS, or AI-based algorithms, English fluency, and MATLAB and Simulink experience; it offers a hybrid working model and collaboration with the Aachen headquarters.
