Description
The Battery Wrecker Operator unloads batteries from trucks, prepares roller conveyors, positions batteries with a forklift, stacks materials safely, cleans truck and dock areas, and breaks up oversized or iron-clad batteries using cutting torches, pneumatic cutters, and forklifts. The role also includes preparing batteries for the Battery Wrecker System, recording cleaning activities, and following environmental, safety, ISO, and LEAN training requirements. It is a first-shift overnight position requiring forklift, loader, and skid-steer experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid United States driver’s license, and authorization to work in the United States.
