Description
Tutor Doctor is hiring part-time English tutors to provide one-to-one, personalized tutoring at the high school level, with a focus on essay writing, thesis statements, composition, structure, grammar, spelling, research, and citations. Tutors select students, set their own weekly schedules, travel to pre-screened students’ homes, and schedule consistent appointments. The role requires proficiency in teaching and reviewing subject content, post-secondary education enrollment or graduation, and access to a vehicle or public transportation; prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching experience is preferred. Availability is generally needed between 4 PM and 9 PM on weeknights and weekends, and candidates must be open to a criminal background check.
