Description
BDIC MedTech is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the development of a miniaturised, implantable wireless energy transfer system for left ventricular assist devices. The role will translate a proof-of-concept into an integrated prototype, lead systems design and safety and regulatory strategy, supervise junior engineers, coordinate with specialists, and prepare the engineering groundwork for preclinical testing and regulatory submission. The position is initially part-time, with a preferred hybrid arrangement involving 1–2 days per week in Belfast, and may be UK/Europe-based or remote with structured travel.
