Description
The Beef Modernization Sorter performs precision knife cuts on beef and makes decisions based on pathology, presentation, and sanitary dressing deficiencies. The role requires harvest-floor knife experience, knife-sharpening ability, knowledge of anatomy and disease processes, strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull product. The position also involves training others and working closely with USDA-FSIS Consumer Safety Inspectors.
