Description
The Beertender provides guest service at Pelican Brewing Company, maintains bar cleanliness and stocking, explains Pelican beers and menu items, communicates with front-of-house and back-of-house staff, handles beer changes and ticket issues, follows OLCC guidelines, changes kegs, troubleshoots draft lines, and assists with inventory and ordering. The role requires fast-paced service, complaint resolution, standing for at least eight hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and physical movement involving bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and stooping. Bartending or restaurant experience, beer knowledge, cash-handling experience, OLCC certification, and an Oregon Food Handler’s card are preferred. Compensation is $15.55 plus a portion of the company tip-share program.
