Howard County Recreation and Parks is hiring energetic staff for its Before and After School Child Care Programs at local elementary schools outside Columbia. The role involves leading games and group activities, preparing snacks, planning school-age activities, and supporting children ages 5–10. Candidates must be available for every morning or every afternoon, pass criminal background checks, obtain required child-care and safety certifications, and complete continuing education. Teacher and Teacher Director roles are listed with starting salaries of $18 and $19, respectively, and Director-level staff may start at $24.
