Description
The PSOE Recovery Teacher provides direct instruction, tutoring, feedback, and behavioral support to students in a tiered MTSS-based Recovery program. The role maintains compliance with Individualized Education Programs, Section 504 plans, and other student support documents; develops behavior support plans based on functional behavior assessments; collaborates with classroom teachers and school personnel; and supports parent communication, documentation, school culture, and coverage duties. The position requires a valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree in education, and experience in a similar field, with work primarily in a school or classroom environment and occasional evenings, weekends, and additional hours.
