Rising Ground is hiring a full-time Behavioral Support Crisis Intervention Specialist for its Long Term Foster Care program in New York City. The role provides direct mentorship and crisis stabilization support to unaccompanied youth, conducts home visits and foster-family coordination, co-facilitates family team conferences, supports school enrollment and community resources, and delivers individual and group life-skills training. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant behavioral science, two years of related adolescent-program experience, bilingual Spanish, child welfare and immigration knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, TCI training, and a valid driver's license. It requires five in-office days per week, extensive travel throughout the Tri-State area, and availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.
