Description

Yu Ming Charter School is seeking a Behavior Intervention Aide to provide support services to students in the general education classroom. This role involves managing student behavior, implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster a positive learning environment. Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Experience working with students with Autism strongly preferred
Experience/knowledge of ABA practices strongly preferred
Coursework in Education/Special Education/Related field preferred
Demonstrated awareness of, sensitivity to, and competence in working with families from various culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Superb interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, colleagues and families
Flexibility and adaptability to change; ability to work in a dynamic, creative and start-up learning environment
