Easterseals New York is hiring a Behavior Intervention Specialist to develop and implement behavior support and intervention plans for residential clients and school-day students under OPWDD and New York State Education Department regulations. The role conducts functional behavioral analyses, monitors behavioral data, coordinates with psychiatry and nursing on medication-related protocols and consents, prepares and presents Human Rights Committee materials, provides behavioral training to staff and families, and participates in educational, clinical, and treatment meetings. A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or Education, 2+ years of behavioral support and functional analysis experience, BCBA certification, and a valid driver's license are listed qualifications.
