Description
The Behavior Intervention Specialist, Level 1 will design, implement, monitor, and adjust behavior management programs and individualized behavior support plans for up to 35 individuals with developmental disabilities across OPWDD ICF, group home, independent residence alternative, and day habilitation settings. The role conducts behavioral assessments, trains direct support professionals and families, manages crisis prevention, maintains compliance and documentation, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. It requires at least three years of relevant experience, a specified clinical or behavior-analysis qualification, in-person work five days per week, and travel throughout Brooklyn.
