Description
Beacon is hiring a Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, autism, and high-acuity behaviors. The role develops and revises individualized Behavior Support Plans, trains and coaches care staff, provides crisis management and post-incident support, analyzes behavioral data, maintains program records, participates in interdisciplinary and inter-agency meetings, and supports compliance and investigations. A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field, behavioral assessment and intervention experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet regulatory and background-check requirements are required or preferred.
