Description
The Behavior Specialist assesses and supports individuals with maladaptive behaviors, develops and implements individualized behavioral support plans, conducts direct and indirect assessments, coordinates with families and service teams, trains direct-care staff, responds to crises, and maintains documentation and regulatory compliance. The role requires a four-year college degree, at least two years of behavior support experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism, current ODP Functional Behavior Assessment certification, a valid driver's license, safe driving, and the ability to travel across several counties.
