Description
The Behavior Specialist conducts behavioral assessments and functional analyses, designs and monitors ABA-based behavior programs, analyzes data, develops behavior support plans, implements positive and response-reduction interventions, trains staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams serving youth with developmental disabilities, autism, and cognitive impairment. The role requires enrollment in a master’s-level Behavior Analysis and Therapy program, relevant experience or specialized knowledge, background clearance, and drug/alcohol screening, with eligibility to sit for the BCBA exam within 36 months of hire.
