The Behavior Support Assistant supports teachers, behavior analysts, and specialists with students ages 7–12, including those with autism, behavioral difficulties, physical impairments, language impairments, or learning disabilities. The role focuses on restorative practices, behavior replacement, pro-social skills, crisis intervention, supervision, and instructional tasks, and may involve physical restraint and control of students.
