Description
The Behavior Support Assistant supports certified teachers in assisting behaviorally challenged individuals or small groups of students. This involves monitoring and modifying student progress, developing activities to enhance academic performance, self-esteem, and social skills, and providing training/supervision for students in various school programs like Cross-Age or Peer Tutoring. The assistant works independently under technical direction from psychologists, principals, and the Student Study Team.
