Description
The Behavior Technician provides direct patient care and supports behavioral health interventions for children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other behavioral needs. The role involves assisting with treatment-plan activities, observing and interpreting child behavior, collecting and reporting data, maintaining therapy-room safety, and collaborating with BCBA and clinical staff. It requires completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training course before hire, a high school diploma or equivalent, and offers $14.00-$17.00 per hour in fee-for-service employment with health, life, paid-time-off, tuition-reimbursement, and vision insurance benefits.
