Description
The Behavior Therapist teaches new skills to clients in their therapeutic setting under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst(s). They provide instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and help clients achieve their Treatment Plan goals. Responsibilities include ensuring client safety, completing high-quality work, following guidelines, complying with HIPAA and FERPA, completing training, rescheduling sessions, accepting feedback, and performing other duties as requested. They also provide one-to-one instruction, implement programs, provide parent/family training, record data, and provide generalization sessions. Communication, attendance, and punctuality are also important.
