Description
The Behavioral Health Specialist supports a therapeutic milieu by facilitating skills, activity, and experiential groups; providing therapeutic meal support; coaching clients; maintaining a recovery-oriented environment; participating in treatment teams and supervision; and completing clinical documentation. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a starting hourly range of $20.00 to $24.00. A bachelor’s degree in a mental, behavioral, counseling, or behavioral health-related field is strongly preferred, or an associate’s degree combined with equivalent experience; at least one year of direct patient care experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is required.
