Description
The Behavioral Health Technician monitors and supports adult clients in a residential eating-disorder treatment setting, assists with care planning, programming, therapeutic meals, outings, recreation, bathroom and exercise monitoring, room checks, and documentation. The role is full-time at 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) on evening and overnight shifts, with every other weekend required, and pays $18.00–$21.00 per hour. A high school diploma or GED with one year of mental health experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a mental health field with 0–1 year of experience, is required; a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive are required, while previous direct mental health experience is preferred.
