Description
The Behavioral Health Technician monitors and supports adolescent clients in a residential eating-disorder treatment setting, assists with community adjustment and eating-disorder management, participates in care planning and programming, supports therapeutic meals and recreation, documents observations, monitors bathroom and exercise use, and enforces resident policies. The role is full-time at 0.8 FTE with evening and overnight shifts, every-other-weekend availability, and a starting hourly range of $18.00–$21.00. A high school diploma or GED with one year of mental health experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a mental health field with 0–1 year of experience, is required; a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive are required, while previous direct mental health experience is preferred.
