Description
The Psychiatric Patient Care Assistant provides direct care and support to psychiatric patients, including activities of daily living, vital-sign checks, patient evaluation assistance, and maintaining a therapeutic environment. The role may apply physical restraints or assist with seclusion under physician or registered nurse supervision. It is a part-time, day-shift position scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with 48 hours every two weeks, and requires a high school diploma or GED, less than one year of relevant experience, Basic Life Support upon hire, and Child Protective Services clearance.
