Description
The Behavior Intervention Assistant provides clinical support in center-based day habilitation programs, responding to behavioral emergencies and implementing SCIP de-escalation maneuvers. The role also supports functional behavioral analysis, individualized behavioral support programs, behavioral data collection and analysis, clinical supervision, staff training, and coordination of psychological interventions. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent with five years of related experience, or an associate degree with three years, or a bachelor’s degree with two years, plus SCIP and CPR training and a valid New York State driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 40 hours.
