Description
The Behavioral Intervention Specialist will identify behavioral health needs, conduct functional behavior assessments, develop and monitor individualized behavior support plans, provide training and modeling for Direct Support Professionals, assist with crisis intervention, coordinate behavioral health services, and participate in team meetings and regulatory reviews. The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, BCBA certification, documented assessment and behavioral support planning training, five years of relevant experience, OPWDD regulatory knowledge, and the ability to perform SCIP-R physical interventions and lift at least 50 pounds.
