Description
The Department of Developmental Services is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse I for the Evaluation and Stabilization Program at the Wrentham Developmental Center in Wrentham, Massachusetts. The role provides nursing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, applying dressings, assisting with personal care, maintaining records, coordinating referrals, initiating emergency procedures, and transporting individuals. Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts LPN license, complete the Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges training within six months, maintain PABC certification and current CPR certification, and obtain and maintain Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification. The position may require 24/7 staffing and mandatory overtime, and compensation is determined by experience, education, and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
