Description
The Behavioral Health Specialist conducts behavioral assessments, develops and monitors individualized behavior and crisis support plans, provides one-on-one and group interventions, supports coping and communication skills, delivers crisis de-escalation, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, advocates for youth access to services, documents progress, and supports staff and caregivers. The role requires a psychology or related degree, at least one year of experience working with people receiving services or in care, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and reliably. Supervised hours are provided at no charge for candidates pursuing RBT, BCaBA, or licensure.
