Description
The Behavioral Technician supports individuals in mental health crisis at a 24/7 crisis center under the supervision of a Unit Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include patient supervision, crisis intervention, basic patient care, intake and safety checks, documentation, facility monitoring, and group facilitation. The role is full-time with three 12-hour shifts per week, available on day or night shifts, and requires working every other weekend. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, BLS and Recipient Rights training, crisis intervention training, and at least one year of experience in a crisis, hospital, or school environment.
