Description
AECOM is hiring a BESS Lead to oversee the delivery, risk mitigation, commissioning, integration, and operational readiness of utility-scale battery energy storage systems. The role coordinates technical and project governance across battery containers, PCS, MV systems, auxiliary equipment, fire suppression, EMS/BMS/SCADA interfaces, and grid integration; supports OEM, EPC, utility, and client stakeholders; and presents risk and readiness assessments to program and client leadership. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with a master's degree preferred, and seeks 15+ years of relevant power or energy-storage project experience plus at least 5 years of utility-scale BESS experience.
