Description
The Bid Coordinator manages county contract solicitations and procurement activities, including solicitation preparation, proposal evaluation, contract amendments, negotiations, compliance with Texas public procurement laws, and coordination with vendors and internal teams. The role supervises Contract Coordinators, mentors staff, maintains procurement records, and may require field work and emergency deployment. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or contracting experience, with county procurement experience preferred. The position is full-time, typically 40 hours per week, and offers medical, vision, and dental insurance among other benefits.
