Wolseley Canada is hiring a Bid Specialist to work with customers and suppliers on plumbing-product bids. The role involves reviewing plans and specifications, researching with suppliers, communicating with clients and representatives, preparing and submitting bids according to profit-margin requirements and deadlines, providing technical information, transferring project details to coordinators, and assisting with technical questions. Candidates should have specification-reading experience, general computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader, and strong customer service, communication, learning, and attention-to-detail skills; plumbing experience, a DEC in building mechanics, AS400, and ACCEO experience are assets.
