Description

Azumo is hiring a fully remote Big Data Engineer based in Latin America to design and maintain scalable, governed data and analytics infrastructure for gaming-related analytics, live operations, player insights, and business decision-making. The role centers on Databricks, DBT, AWS, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, governance, and orchestration, with strong preference for experience in gaming, telemetry, or high-scale analytics environments. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in data-related and data management responsibilities
Experience with SQL, Python, and scalable ETL/ELT pipeline development
Experience with AWS data ecosystems, DBT, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
Deep expertise in data warehouses and big data analytics systems
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in gaming, telemetry, live operations, or high-scale analytics environments
Experience with real-time or streaming data systems
Experience with KPI reporting and operational dashboards
Professional English proficiency (B2/C1)
Self-driven, motivated, and strong problem-solving mindset
