Description
The SEIU 32BJ Training Fund is hiring part-time Bilingual Self Defense instructors to teach classes in the Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland area. Instructors will plan and deliver student-centered lessons, co-teach when needed, maintain attendance records, communicate with supervisors, and participate in professional development. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, Spanish and English proficiency, self-defense teaching experience, and flexibility for nights and weekends; CPR/AED/First Aid instructor certification is a plus. Compensation is $75 per teaching hour for certified classes and $50 per hour for non-teaching activities, with paid preparation, training, coaching, and travel time.
