The Teacher Assistant Bilingual supports elementary school teachers by assisting with instruction in English and another language, supervising students, providing tutoring, helping with classroom materials and assignments, operating audio-visual and office equipment, coordinating student transportation, and communicating with parents. The role requires an associate degree, bilingual communication and reading skills, basic mathematics knowledge, familiarity with Chicago Public Schools rules, and the ability to work with school-aged children.
