Description
The Medical Billing Specialist will prepare and submit hospital and physician medical claims, correct rejections and denials, investigate payer issues, post billing adjustments, and work with client teams to maximize reimbursement. The role is remote, requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role, and prefers EPIC experience and an associate's degree. Candidates must also demonstrate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, medical billing regulations, revenue-cycle analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms.
