Description
The Finance Manager will supervise capital accounting, grant accounting, and project billing within the finance team. Responsibilities include managing budgeting, forecasting, fixed-asset transactions, reconciliations, internal controls, external reporting, audit support, mergers-and-acquisitions due diligence, accounting-integration activities, internal audit support, and staff training. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, seven to ten years of related experience, transportation or railroad experience, and US public-company experience; CPA or MBA is preferred. The position requires a pre-employment medical review, possible drug screening, and background screening, and requires the employee to live within 50 miles of the assigned location or relocate.
