Description
Mineral Community Hospital is hiring a Billing Specialist to process and submit medical claims, verify patient billing information, follow up on denied or unpaid claims, assist patients with billing questions, maintain account records, and coordinate with healthcare providers, coding specialists, and insurance representatives. The role requires 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare finance, knowledge of insurance claims and Medicare/Medicaid, familiarity with EHR and billing software, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Remote work is possible, with a base pay of $20.50 per hour and rate increases based on relevant experience and certifications.
