The role handles lab travel errors, submits payer claims, maintains accurate and compliant billing documentation, supports audits, and collaborates with billing leadership to improve reimbursement outcomes. It requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, attention to detail, compliance knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with billing systems, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook. Experience with skilled nursing facilities, hospice providers, and Medicare billing is preferred but not required.
