Description
The Billing Specialist prepares, reviews, and submits healthcare claims accurately and on time, monitors billing queues and clearinghouse rejections, corrects denials, collaborates with RCM teams, and supports billing KPIs. The role requires familiarity with payer rules, CPT/HCPCS and modifier codes, RCM systems, and Microsoft Office, with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred and at least two years of healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience. It is a non-exempt, full-time position paying $23-$28 per hour and includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
