The Medi-Cal Billing Specialist ensures accurate Medi-Cal claim entry and eligibility confirmation in the County My Avatar System, reviews and corrects denials, maintains billing and reporting systems, and supports the clinical team. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of medical billing experience, knowledge of insurance and coding systems, computer proficiency, and strong organizational and communication skills. It is an indoor office position with standard Monday-through-Friday hours and may involve driving for errands.
