Billing Workflow Lead at Everise

Description

Everise is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will lead the billing workflow, ensure accurate report generation, resolve billing issues, and support financial reporting and audit preparations. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience leading billing workflows and managing task assignments.
Ability to manage and ensure timely availability of data and reports for billing releases.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing billing-related reports.
Proficiency in liaising with internal and external customers and resolving requests efficiently.
Experience assisting in resolving billing disputes and discrepancies.
Responsibility for maintaining up-to-date customer accounts and reconciliations.
Ability to prepare account reconciliations and generate ad-hoc management reports.
Support for month-end closing and participation in audits.
In-depth understanding of financial reporting, particularly AR and Revenue, and their impact on GL structures and systems.
Experience assisting in implementing and executing internal controls within the OTC process.
Flexibility to assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of general accounting procedures, especially those related to Order to Cash (OTC) and Revenue.
Ability to work accurately under frequent interruptions and adapt to shifting priorities.
Ability to prioritize tasks with urgency and meet deadlines effectively.
Self-motivated individual capable of adapting to changes.
Organized and meticulous attention to detail.
High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to customer confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in computer and business solution software, with exposure to NetSuite preferred.
Flexible to accommodate cyclical shifts as per work demands.
