Description
The OFCC BIM Technical Manager serves as the State of Ohio's lead authority on Building Information Modeling standards, deliverable review, and digital facility information strategy. The owner-representative role evaluates and accepts BIM deliverables from design and construction teams, manages the OHIOBIMS standards and BIM execution plans, oversees the enterprise Common Data Environment and QA/QC processes, coordinates BIM implementation across seven state agencies, and leads a 15-year roadmap toward an integrated digital twin ecosystem. The position also supports capital project management, contract and procurement activities, industry engagement, training, and technology evaluation. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of owner-side construction project management or capital program delivery experience, and at least two years of BIM program or digital deliverable management experience.
